Income Tax Calculator is a small website powered by Clear Books which enables you to calculate your income tax (as its name implies). This was the first project I worked on during my first week working for Clear Books. When designing the website I wanted to move in the complete opposite direction of other income tax calculator websites, and create something which was a little more fun just because tax and accounting is mundane, doesnt mean that the way it is presented also has to be mundane.

I wanted to create a mascot for the website, and so set about designing the most stereotypical tax man I could think of enter Stanley, who helps you calculate your income tax calculation. Once the results have been calculated you can use the social network plugins (Facebook & Twitter) to recommend the website to your friends.
